EADS announces sale of 2 CASA C-295 to Spain

EADS, the european gigant, has announced that has sold 2 transport aircrafts CASA C-295 to the spanish Ejército del Aire recently.
With this new two units the Ejército del Aire has 13 units of this plane which can transport 9.250 Kg. de cargo, or 73 passengers or 5 88´´ x 108´´standard pallets.
This plane is the CASA C-212 ans CN-235, the last one build in a joint venture with Nuritanio from Indonesia, big brother, and the trhe together form a trilogy that makes EADS CASA the market´s leader of the market where this planes are pointed to. 
This plane is designed in response of the new needs of the armed forces of the differets countries to transport cargo, soldiers and equipment close to the battlefield or for humanitarian duties in case of natural dissasters.
EADS CASA, the EADS NV spanish branch, counts on with more that 100 customers from 50 countries and has sold more than 800 aircrafts.
Between the C-295 users qe can find: Poland (8), Jordan (2), Brazil (1) y Spain (11), adding orders from Spain (2), Switzerland (2), Brazil (11), United Arab Emirates (4 maritime patrol C-295 Persuader), Thailand (6), Taiwan (19) and Finland (2).
