Boeing looks for support for the KC-767 with jobs creation

Boeing has announced that the state of Florida, will be benefited with the cration of more than 1.100 direct and indirect jobs if its KC-767 is chosen as the next tanker for the USAF.
Also was published that Florida´s economy will increase the activity in more than U$S 45 millon anually.
Boeing has offered to the USAF the KC-767 Advanced Tanker, designed for the air refuelling and also for cargo, passengers, patients and medical crewmembers.
According to the data showed by th american constructor, more than 44.000 americans and 300 suppliers will design, build and support the KC-767 Advanced Tanker.
The suppliers we can find are: Vought Aircraft Industries, Pratt & Whitney, Rockwell Collins, Smiths Aerospace, Honeywell, Spirit AeroSystems and Delta TechOps.
For the USAF KC-X competition, the KC-767 is competing against the Airbus A-330-200MRTT, but the american company truts in its more than 75 years of experience building and modifying tamnkers, to win the contract.
the company has flown more than 1000 flight hours demostrating the fuel transferetion ina new fifth geration boom and extending and retracting the fuselage mounted and wing mounted air refuelling hoses.
It s expected the desition will be taken soon due to the global projection of the american armed forces depends on their tankers an the KC-135 and KC-10 fleet is showing their antiquity.
