EMBRAER obtains order for 20 E-Jets from Air France/KLM

EMBRAER has informed that the aviation group Air France/KLM has ordered 20 aircrafts of the E-Jets Family.
The 20 aircrafts will be divided according the following scheme: 4 E-190 and 6 E-170 for Régional/Air France and 10 E-190 for KLM Cityhopper a KLM subsidiary.
This aircrafts are valued in U$S 657 millons at price list and under January 2007 economics conditions, delivering the first of the planes in November 2008.
Also has been signed optios by 3 E-190 y 6 E-170 for Regional/Air France and 9 E-190 planes for Cityhopper, which rises the contract up to U$S 1,245 billon, if the whole options are excercised.
The chosen configuration for the planes are, in the E-190 unique class for 100 passengers and for the E-170 unique classe for 76 passengers.
Actually Regional/Air France operates  3 EMBRAER E-190 and operates a total of 39 planes of the southamerican aircraft manufacturer, distributed as follows: 3 E-190, 27 ERJ 145 and 9 ERJ 135.
The E-Jets aircrafts mission will be to substitute the Fokker F-100 operated by Regional/Air France and KLM Cityhopper actually.
