Credit of $ 20 millon for CONVIASA

Bancoex will give a credit of $ 20 millon to the Venezuelan airline CONVIASA, what will allow it to purchase two ATR-72 aircrafts and a stock of spare parts for its fleet.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Rodolfo Sanz, Chairman of Bancoex, and by Mr. Franklin Gonzalez, Chairman of CONVIASA.
This loan will allow the company to shorten the times of acquisition of new airplanes, that the company is needing.
CONVIASA has a fleet of 13 aircrafts, including: an Aibrus A-340, four Boeing B-737, five ATR and a Cessna Caravan 208.
This company actually serves the Aruba, Curazao, Domincia, Teheran and Damasco routes.
Nowadays, the airline transports 12.000 passengers monthly, in national and international routes, and it is expected with the new airplanes this number increases to 15,000 passengers montlhy.
