Aeroflot´s internet sales have increased in four times

The volume of Aeroflot internet sales in September of this year came up to 8 million dollars. More than 70% of sold tickets were paid for online via credit cards. Growth of sales is caused by expansion of number of routes where the technology of the electronic ticket is introduced.
Now in 40 directions of Aeroflot the tickets paid for online are marked as electronic, and passengers are relieved of necessity to receive paper air tickets. By the end of current year the paperless technology will be accessible on 60 directions of Aeroflot, and by June 1, 2008 all routes of Aeroflot will become electronic.
Aeroflot is the biggest Russian airline and is a member of the Skytem alliance.
