Ohakea Open Day and Airshow, March 16th.


Next March, 16th. will take place The Ohakea Open Day and Airshow, which promises to be an exciting, action-packed event with flying and static displays.
In this show the public will be able to see many military or civil aircrafts on land and in the air.. The Kiwi Blue parachute team will be jumping out of aircraft and the Red Checkers team will be performing their incredible aerobatic manoeuvres.
In addition to the military displays, civil aircraft including the Spitfire T-9, Thunder Mustang, DC-3 will also be on show, together with representatives from the Manawatu Microlight Club and Wanganui-Manawatu Gliding Club.
On the ground, a deployed camp will give visitors a chance to see what life is like during an overseas operation.
