Agreement between Iberia and American Express
Iberia and American Express have signed a worldwide strategic agreement, and one of the first effects is the association of both customers programs, Iberia Plus and Membership Rewards.
With this agreement American Express customers can transfer their points to the Iberia Plus program, and with this American Express ample its proposal to increase customers loyalty.
At the beginning the agreement includes only American Express and Iberia Plus cards owners of Spain, but then will be incorporated countries with an important presence of both companies, like: USA, Mexico, Argentina, United Kongdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Sweeden, Austria and Finland.
American Express cards holders will be able to accumulate points podrán acumular puntos jointly with those obtained with their Iberia Plus card, and can be used to buy free flight tickets for more than 700 destinations. and also can be used to stay in the best hotels and to car rental.
Both companies have identified that an importante segment of their Frequent Travellers have similar needs and expectations and decided to join efforts to offer them one of the most complete offers of the market.
