Aerinautics General Staff of Brazil carried out the initial planning meeting with sights to the development of the exercise CRUZEX IV, that will be carried out from the November, 1st. to Nov. 14th in the Brazilian`s Northeast Region, including the states of Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará and Pernambuco.
Under the coordination of the Br.Ar. Flavio dos Santos Chaves, participant countries delegations received a briefing about the specificities of the exercise.
Following the briefing, was distributed in groups for the debates as far as logistics and the operational part, treating subjects like safety ruleses, operational scenario, comunications, control and command structure and so on.
The Exercise`s Director will be Ten.Brig. Ar. Joan Manoel Sandim de Rezende.
This exercise, which is made under NATO rules, involves air forces from the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, France, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The exercise is based on a low intensity conflict, within the established peace times doctrine criteria, in where the Coalition Forces (Blue Forces) fight against the Enemy Forces(Red Forces).
