Italian airline, Aeritalia, has lots of problems, since its situation for some time has been becoming critical. 
It is hopes that the company can be privatized and find some investor who can remove it from the hole in which he has fallen and could take it to the bankruptcy.
Italian minister of Economy, Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa, said that Italia would continue having a flag airline if ``.. new shareholders, direction, union organizations and personnel have the industrial and financial capacity to adjust and later to develop the company``. 
Air France-KLM`s Group, has presented a purchase offer of the company, and meetings between representatives of the French-Dutch group and the unions are carried out to reach an agreement.
